It pleased God Almighty to call from labor to reward our loved one, Willie “Tank” Moore, on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Willie was born to the late James Moore and the late Margie Moore in McCormick, South Carolina on August 31, 1956.
Willie was a member of the McCormick High School Class of 1976. Willie served his country in the National Guard for several years. He was employed by Norris W. Gunby, Sr. Funeral Home, Wrights and Jones Funeral Home, and Beggs Funeral Home, until his health failed. Willie was a jack of all trades and held many positions.
He was joined in holy matrimony to Ruby Manison on April 16, 1988.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and joined Shiloh A.M.E Church.
In his spare time, he played the lottery, hauled junk and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Most of all spending time with his great-grandsons.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Mrs. Ruby Moore of Lincolnton, Georgia; two daughters, Pamela Savage of Lincolnton, Georgia and LeKeitha (Ta’varse) Hill of North Augusta, South Carolina; one son, Eric Bussey of Lincolnton, Georgia; three brothers, Leroy Moore of Oxen Hill, Maryland; Timothy (Paula) Moore of Willington, North Carolina; Johnny Moore of McCormick, South Carolina; three sisters, Joanne (Joe Nathan) Tolbert of Plum Branch, South Carolina; Janie Moore of McCormick, South Carolina; Thelma (Marvin) Richardson of Greenwood, South Carolina; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters in law, Eva (Robert) Searles and Latrear Mansion of Lincolnton, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
