Lou Ann Murray

Lou Ann “Elam” Murray was born in Lincolnton, Georgia on April 26, 1956, to the late Mr. Thomas Q. Elam and Mrs. Ruth B. Leverett Elam.

Lou Ann graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1974 and furthered her education at Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. She held several jobs in her work career. She recently retired from Kroger.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at a young age while attending her current church, Mulberry CME.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Murray (2017) and her daughter Amanda Nicole Murray (2018).

Lou Ann leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Stephanie Ann Murray; granddaughter, Makayla Murray both of Lincolnton, Georgia; sisters, Mamie Jo Elam of Lincolnton, Georgia; Mae Frances Hall and Claudine Williams both of Augusta, Georgia; brother, Henry Louis Elam of Lincolnton, Georgia; great aunt, Mary Leverett of Lincolnton, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
