Obituary

Mr. Alexzander Mickens was born on March 3, 1959, to the late Willie Neal and Ethelene Mickens in Lincolnton, Georgia.

He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday May 3, 2022, at his residence in Lincolnton, Georgia.

Alexzander leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Gwendolyn G. Mickens of Lincolnton, Georgia; three children, Alex Anthony Mickens, Tamika Lynnette (Jonathan) Hampton, Althony Alexzander Mickens all of Lincolnton, Georgia; three grandchildren, Aspen Leilani Mickens, Jay Anthony Alexzander, and Kingston Avari Mickens of Columbia, South Carolina; three sisters, Rosie Mae Mickens, Julia (Michael) Elam, Juanita (Jessie) Gartrell, all of Lincolnton, Georgia; six brothers, Prelo (Tonya) Mickens, Willie Edward (Deborah) Mickens, Tom Mickens, Henry Will Mickens all of Lincolnton, Georgia; Amos (Althea) Mickens of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Melvin Floyd of Thomson, Georgia; two aunts, Fannie Norman of Thomson, Georgia; and Myrtis Sims of West Orange, New Jersey; A special cousin, Judy Norman of Evans, Georgia; a special friend, Steve Benning of Lincolnton, Georgia; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
